The iPhone 12 Pro Max is the largest iPhone Apple has ever created. It was easily the best iPhone Apple had ever made when it launched. The design of the 12 Pro Max mirrors that of the other handsets in 2020’s iPhone 12 family: there’s a new flat-sided frame, which looks more industrial and is a little less comfortable to hold than last year’s model. Story of The iPhone 12 Pro Max:
The iPhone 12 Pro Max is the biggest iPhone Apple has ever produced. It features a 6.5-inch OLED display, which is 0.2 inches larger than the current 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Plus and 0.3 inches bigger than the 5.8-inch iPhone XS Max, though it’s not as big as Samsung’s 6.4-inch Galaxy Note 10+ or the 6.75-inch Galaxy Fold, which both hit the market this year – so it’s not an unwieldy device by any stretch of the imagination, just that Apple has finally taken a step towards larger handsets with its current generation of iPhones after years of resisting them in favour of smaller devices that are easier to hold.
Apple has also added a third camera to the back of the 12 Pro Max – a 12-megapixel telephoto camera that’s designed to replace the 2x optical zoom lens on the iPhone XS. This is joined by a new ultra-wide-angle camera with a 16-megapixel sensor, which allows for photos at an impressive 123 degrees field of view, though it’s worth pointing out that this is less than the ultra-wide on Huawei’s P30 Pro (up to 123 degrees) and that phone has a much smaller 5.8-inch screen than Apple’s 6.5-inch one.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max is available in gold, silver, and space grey finishes, as well as a brand new white version that’s subtly different from the iPhone XR’s white finish.

It’s also bigger than both Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ (6.4-inch, 1,440 x 3,040 pixels) and the Galaxy Fold (6.75-inch, 1,440 x 2,960 pixels).
